Monica D’Ascenzo is a financial journalist and writer. She currently works at Finanza & Mercati Il Sole 24 Ore and since 2016 has been the creator and manager of Alley Oop – L’altra metà del Sole blog. D’Ascenzo joined the Gruppo 24 Ore in 2001 and worked in Ventiquattrore.tv’s newsrooms, Radiocor news wire and Moda24 weekly. Previously, she had an experience abroad in Bloomberg TV London office, where she led the financial program of the morning. She was also a TV author for Internet Café, Andrea Pezzi’s program and New Worlds Rai Educational documentaries.
