Lucie Sanchez holds a degree in economics and a master’s degree in business management. After working in the packaging industry and for several organizations dealing with economic development, Lucie is working for ASTER since 2002 where she has developed many activities to support the development of start-ups. In 15 years of activities, Lucie has been involved in the development of incubation programmes, acceleration programmes, organization of large events and has designed and managed many EU projects.
Since 2012, Lucie is the coordinator of entrepreneurship activities developed within the EU initiative Climate-KIC in Italy and coordinates for instance Climate-KIC Startup Accelerator Italy, a 3 stage accelerator programme for start-ups, that selects and supports every year 20 Italian startups dealing with climate topics.
Within the Climate-KIC, Lucie also promotes and implements ClimateLaunchpad in Italy. ClimateLaunchpad is the largest cleantech idea competition in the world involving 50 countries and that has helped already supported over 1300 new business ideas all around the globe.
